The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading the entire recruitment processes for Deceuninck, ensuring the attraction, selection, and hiring of top talent across all levels. This role focuses on both strategic and operational aspects of talent acquisition, partnering with business leaders to meet workforce needs while building a strong employer brand.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Head of the Recruitment Centre of Excellence and mentor and guide two recruitment team members, providing coaching on best practices.
- Have end-to-end accountability for the recruitment of white- and blue-collar roles in Belgium and at HQ, as well as for staffing critical roles/expert positions in Europe. Serve as the main point of contact for all stakeholders, ensuring timely processes and high-quality outcomes.
- Drive the full recruitment cycle for white-collar positions, from creating compelling job postings to ensuring a warm “welcome on board”.
- Collaborate with department heads and HR Business Partners/Managers to understand workforce planning requirements.
- Approach candidates through various channels and build talent pools in different areas of expertise, evolving towards a more proactive recruitment approach. Own final responsibility for recruitment strategies, ensuring positions are filled efficiently and with high-quality candidates.
- Manage and optimize relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards and job fairs, to build a network and to achieve the best results.
- Deliver a flawless candidate experience through clear communication, fast follow-up, and warm, personal contact.
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics and KPIs.
- Act as an ambassador for Deceuninck and contribute to the development and implementation of various recruitment initiatives (referrals, Young Potential Program, etc.). You take the lead in positioning Deceuninck as an employer brand through targeted campaigns and storytelling (in close collaboration with marketing).
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in recruitment techniques, tools, and social media.
You will report to the CHRO of the Deceuninck Group and will become part of a passionate and driven team of 11 HR professionals (worldwide more than 30 HR experts).
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Master level and proven experience (5+ years) in talent acquisition, ideally across multiple sectors and preferably in an (international) industrial context.
- Experience recruiting both white- and blue-collar employees, as well as specialized and high-level roles. Expertise with recruitment in other European countries is a big added value.
- Ability to manage a recruitment team and lead complex hiring projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in using social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and understand perfectly which channels to use to reach candidates.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage recruitment data.
- Take a pragmatic, results-driven approach, striving to make every vacancy a success.
- Inspire potential candidates with your authentic communication style and strong empathy and generate excitement for our job opportunities and company culture.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch, English and French. Engage confidently at all organizational levels, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining the discretion this role demands.
