The Consolidation Manager leads the design and execution of group-wide financial consolidation and reporting. You oversee the entire consolidation process, ensuring Full compliance with IFRS. Beyond your technical expertise, you focus on strengthening organizational capability and driving continuous process improvements. In your role, you embed consistency and accuracy into our global reporting framework.
Your key responsibilities include:
Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting:
- Lead the complete group consolidation process—monthly, semi-annual, and annual—ensuring full IFRS compliance.
- Provide direction on IFRS disclosures and notes, ensuring high-quality financial communication that meets technical standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Produce high-quality consolidated financial statements and management reporting, ensuring relevance for executive management, shareholders, the audit committee and board of directors.
- Perform detailed and ad hoc financial analyses for the CFO to guide strategic and operational decision-making.
- Play a key role in preparing the integrated annual report and ensuring ESG data is accurate and controlled.
- Support budget and rolling forecast processes throughout the Group.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors on group consolidation matters.
Systems, Processes & Control Framework:
- Oversee and continuously improve consolidation processes and systems, ensuring IFRS and group accounting policies are consistently applied across all entities.
- Further define and enforce frameworks between central and local finance teams, ensuring smooth execution across regions.
- Own and evolve consolidation systems and data models incl. implementing a new consolidation reporting tool.
Collaboration & Finance excellence:
- Build strong working relationships across global finance teams, promoting disciplined execution, reliability of inputs, and continuous improvement in data quality.
- Position the consolidation function as a trusted partner to the business.
- Take ownership and actively engage in optimizing finance processes.
You will report to the CFO of the Deceuninck Group and will be supported by a small team of Consolidation&Reporting Analysts.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, with at least of 5 years of relevant experience in consolidation and financial reporting.
- Deep understanding of IFRS and proven expertise preparing consolidated financial statements in complex and multi-entity environments.
- Practical experience using financial reporting and consolidation tools, with advanced proficiency in Excel and data analytics.
- Capable of analyzing complex financial transactions and identifying process improvement opportunities with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
- Able to translate financial information into actionable and impactful insights for diverse stakeholders. Communicates clearly and professionally in both English and Dutch.
- Energetic and flexible team player, skilled at building strong internal and external relationships.
- Willing to travel internationally on occasion.
